About Fleetara

Built by someone who knows the road

Fleetara was founded on a simple belief: trucking and logistics companies deserve a safety partner who understands their world — not a consultant reading from a manual.

Our story

25 years on the front lines of transportation safety

Fleetara was built out of firsthand experience in the trucking industry — working alongside fleet managers, drivers, and operations teams to solve real compliance and safety challenges. After years of seeing companies struggle with the same preventable problems, we set out to build a consulting practice that works differently.

We don't parachute in, hand over a report, and disappear. We work alongside your team — learning your routes, your cargo, your people — and build solutions that actually fit your operation. Every recommendation we make is grounded in practical experience, not theory.

Today, Fleetara serves trucking and logistics companies across the country, from regional carriers to national fleets. Our work is guided by two principles: keep your drivers safe, and keep your business moving.

Credentials

Industry-recognized certifications

Our consulting is backed by the transportation industry's most respected professional designations — earned through rigorous examination and years of verified field experience.

CTP
National Private Truck Council (NPTC)

Certified Transportation Professional

What it is

The CTP is the transportation industry's premier professional certification, awarded by the National Private Truck Council (NPTC). It covers fleet operations, safety management, regulatory compliance, logistics, and financial management.

What it takes to earn

Earning the CTP requires passing a comprehensive examination and demonstrating years of verified industry experience. It signals that a consultant has the breadth of knowledge to advise on complex, multi-faceted transportation challenges — not just one slice of the operation.

When you work with a CTP-certified consultant, you're working with someone who has been tested against the full scope of transportation management — and passed.

CDS
North American Transportation Institute

Certified Director of Safety

What it is

The CDS designation is awarded by the North American Transportation Institute to professionals with advanced expertise in transportation safety management, accident investigation, regulatory compliance, and safety program development.

What it takes to earn

The CDS is specifically focused on safety leadership — the knowledge required to build, manage, and continuously improve safety programs that protect drivers, reduce liability, and satisfy regulators. It requires demonstrated expertise in both the technical and organizational dimensions of fleet safety.

A CDS-certified consultant brings not just compliance knowledge, but the safety leadership expertise to build programs that change behavior and reduce incidents over the long term.
